• Basics of computer systems and architecture
• Components: CPU, motherboard, RAM, storage devices, power supply
• Input/output devices and peripherals
• Types of computers (desktop, laptop, workstation)
• Safety practices and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions

Module 2: PC Assembly and Disassembly

• Tools and equipment for hardware work
• Assembling a desktop computer step-by-step
• Disassembling and assembling laptops
• Identifying connectors, ports, and slots
• BIOS/UEFI setup and configuration

Module 3: Operating Systems and Software Installation

• Installation of operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Linux
• Device drivers installation and updates
• Disk partitioning and formatting
• System configuration and updates
• Basic command-line tools

Module 4: Troubleshooting and Repair

• Diagnosing hardware faults (no power, no display, overheating)
• Laptop-specific issues (battery, keyboard, screen, motherboard)
• Use of diagnostic tools and software
• Repair and replacement of components
• Data backup and recovery basics

Module 5: Maintenance, Networking, and Professional Practice

• Preventive maintenance and system cleaning
• Virus protection and system security basics
• Introduction to basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi setup)
• Customer service and documentation
• Ethics, safety, and environmental considerations (e-waste management)
