Accountant in Business Course

Duration: 6 Months

• To provide learners with an understanding of the business and organisational environment in which accountants operate
• To introduce the principles of business law, corporate governance and ethics relevant to accounting professionals
• To develop awareness of business functions including human resources, finance, and operations
• To equip learners with foundational knowledge for progression to professional accounting qualifications
• To prepare learners to contribute effectively as accounting professionals in modern business organisations

Upon completion, learners will be able to: 

1. Explain the purpose and structure of business organisations and their operating environments
2. Describe the roles and responsibilities of accountants within organisations
3. Apply principles of corporate governance, ethics and professional practice
